SJ Technology Education Foundation

The South Jersey Technology Education Foundation is a non profit organization that was founded in 1999 to address the digital divide that exists in the Southern New Jersey Communities.  The foundation offers technology services to minorities and minority businesses that includes the following:

• Occupational Skills Career Training programs that are approved by the NJ Department of Education

• Technology and Business Development supportive services for the Minority Business Community

• The Business Resource Center

• The Tech Mobile

• The Leadership ACADEMY

This non profit organization is funded by grants and donations.  Recipients of our services are granted these services at no charge.  Our mission is to assist individuals and or companies to become or continue to be successful. Our Advisory Board Members also serve on the Technology Education Foundation as the Board of Directors.

Funding for individuals is based on available funds! 

Scholarships are available through T.Byrd Computers.   More than $10,000 is scholarships have be awarded to individuals who attend are regular funded training programs between 2006 and to date.  These individuals are individuals who only received a training grant in the amount of $4000.00, but were still able to attend our full time training programs without any out of pocket expenses.  Those scholarships were awarded in the amounts of $985.00 and $995.00.
