Medical Terminology Analyst          

Course Description:

This eight week course is designed for the person who has taken a fundamental and advanced Medical Billing/Coding course and needs to learn the medical terminology required by most Medical Billing clerks and administrators using the most advanced billing software.  Students who successfully complete our training program graduate with a state certification as a: Medical Terminology Analyst.

Course Outline:

Weeks 1-8
Pc Literacy - students learn the fundamentals of using a personal computer, fundamentals of word and access.Medical Terminology - students will learn medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, diagnostic tests and treatment. This training allows student to become proficient in selecting and utilizing the correct codes for each office and/or hospital procedure.
