The TECHMOBILE
The Tech Mobile is a full size school bus that has been converted into a computer training center on wheels.
We will bring the classroom to you. The Tech Mobile includes 8 state of the art computer stations with
printing capabilities. The Tech Mobile is one of its kind in south jersey. Your day care center, senior citizen
center or special event can take advantage of this computer center on wheels.

The Techmobile services Atlantic and Cape May Counties. Special arrangements can be made for locations outside of these counties. |

| Does it cost to have the Tech Mobile visit a site? | ||
|
Yes - $100.00 per hour, minimum of 2
hours. We are working on funding through grants, corporate
contributions, and fundraising to make services free to the
community. If you would like to donate or have information that

| How do we arrange a Tech Mobile visit? | ||
|
Our request form must be completed and sent at least two weeks in advance of the desired Tech Mobile visit. The completed form will be reviewed and the requesting group will be notified within 72 hours. Upon confirmation, your visit will be scheduled. To obtain the request form, please call 609-484-9356. |

| What does a Tech Mobile lesson consist of? | ||
|
There is space for eight at a time on the Techmobile. Generally, each lesson lasts one hour and is facilitated by a trained education specialist. Visits are designed to meet the needs of the participating group. Therefore, under the guidance of the host site, we create a specialized lesson plan. |

| Can I just show up at a site and participate as a student or as a volunteer? | ||

Not yet. However we are working to secure a fast and effective Internet connection to enhance our lesson plans |

| How advanced are the Tech Mobile lessons? Can students with no prior computer experience gain anything by sitting in on a lesson? | ||

Students without prior computer experience can work at their own pace while participating in Tech Mobile lessons; advanced students are also challenged. |
